About City

Dublin is the largest city and capital of Ireland. Dublin is situated in the region of Leinster on the east coast of Ireland, at the entrance of the River Liffey and bounded on the South by the Wicklow Mountains. Dublin is considered as the economic and business center of the country and government take a seat here. The city population is 1.3million people. Ireland adores a temperate climate with mild winters and cool summers. Late October or November is normally a very pleasing time to visit.

Dublin was established as a Viking settlement in the 10th century, who established a key maritime Centre. By the 18th Century, Dublin was second largest city followed by London of the British Empire. Dublin is a flourishing cultural center and vaunts a great literary legacy with many personalities of Irish literature such as Joyce, Shaw, Yeats, Wilde, Kavanagh and Beckett, being connected with the city. Dublin's entertainments are legendary, from the boozy delights of the Guinness Storehouse and Temple Bar to more cultured nights at the theatre or dining in one of the city's fine eateries. As well as holding historic and cultural charms, the city mixes contemporary and traditional at most every turn. Here you will find the finest of cosmopolitan and elegant hotels, trendy bars & restaurants as well as great museums and heritage trails.
